when things goes wrong as they sometimes will,
when the road you are trudging seems all up hill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
when you want to smile, but have to sigh,
when care is pressing u down abit,
rest if you must, but do not quit.

life is queer with its twists and turns,
as everyone of us sometimes learn,
success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint, in the cloud of doubt.
and you never can tell how close you are,
it may be near when it seemed so far.

so stick to the fight when you are hardest hit,
cos it when things seemed worst:

YOU MUST NOT QUIT.
