time to give the movie in question earlier some credibility:

hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy is a raelly hilarious n funny show, though the early middle part can be really really REALLY ultra super-cannot-even-make-it lame... to make up for it, the jokes they crack in the beginning are really quite funny.

go with a big livley crowd, it'll help you in enjoying the movie :) and i mean a really big crowd like weekend afternoons n evenings when there are sell-outs kinda crowd!!!

and so rating for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: go with a weekend crowd, and one that really laughs, go for this movie if u wan pure brainless laughter at the beginning, some lame scenes following that, and finally some intellectual jokes before going back to that traditional "and-they-live-happily-ever-after" kinda stuff..

oh ya,,, marvin's my favourite character =)
