done quite a few things in the past 2 days, let see if this can be a coherent post...
finally managed to finish my stage 2 of driving yesterday!! jus hv to finish the circuit courses n i'll beabt 4 more practises away from the TP driving test!scary man, considering how fast i'm learning to take up driving... 2 more lessons today, 2 more on monday and tuesday and wednesda, and 1 more on friday... really really frightening pace... and all these progress in like 2-3 wks?!? suddenly the target of getting the license by august doesn't seem so remote and far-fetched already. oh well.
met up wif
bi hong yesterday at the driving center, went for lunch and jus chatted a bit, she's taking it easy with the driving lessons, jus taking 1 lesson a day, and 1 wk a couple of lesson.
think me n my frens are abit tOO cheong liao. bernard's already done with stage 3 after 2 wks of intensive, 3-lesson-a-day-5-days-a-week kinda schedule...
speaking of meeting up with frens, met 7 different frens yest at the driving center, met
jimmy tjeng (my sec sch ncc platoon mate),
margaret (sec sch class mate),
bi hong (sec sch prefectorial board mate)
bernard (njc sch mate),
zong yin (6SIR colleague). all at almost the same time!
driving lesson yesterday was quite smooth, 1st session was ok, sadly 1 of the better instructor tt took me for driving said that he'll be leaving BBDC soon for another job, quoting better pay and working hours as main reason. sad sia, he's a really good instructor, takes his time to patiently explain to you, that will joke and scold at appropriate moments. too bad man.
2nd session was a review of all i've learnt in stage 2 of driving, the instructor was SUPER SACARSTIC, asking all those retorical qustions and kept doing that for abt 1 hr or so..... almost gonna blow my horn and speed to 100kmph if he had carried on for another 10 mins, but luckily driving got smoother somehow, and he found nothing to critique in the last half of the lesson... phew...

went to watch
"A lot like love" by
ashton kutcher and
amanda peet at nite, its quite a good film =) romantic comedy as somebody would put it. the crowd in the cinema helped, at some of the lamer moments, (like when ashton kutcher was cracking an ultra lame-o joke to amanda peet to bring up her spirits), 1 funny guy abt 6-7 rows down would burst out into an ultra LOUD laughter.. and then eveyrboyd else would follow suit...
whether its cos the rest of the audience took a longer time to absorb the laughable (?) element and therefore laughed slower than that guy did, or its cos we're laughing at how loud he actually laughed, wil forever be a mystery to me. but nevertheless with good company, managed to enjoy the movie. go catch it, well worth the $8.00 spent =)
tt's 1 more show down, 2 more to go,
Initial D and
War of the Worlds coming these few days =P anybody interested in going to catch them
?the weeks ended already!!! wow, times flies...
guess i'll leave with a quote tt left an impression with me from the movie,
this was when kutcher's brother and kutcher were having a conversation, straight after kutcher was made a bankrupt in his venture and cuts a sorry figure himself after failing to achieve anything in the 6 yrs of work:
"This is your life. Right now. It won't wait on you."
guess the brother was trying to tell kutcher tt life moves on, regardless of whatever events tt happen to us, it'll never stop, and we never stop living till we return to dust.
keep on living ppl =)
