today was in a certain manner... both irritating and satisfying +_O

oh well, began the day feeling like a mister all over again... haha jus 2 days into my civilian mode, still getting used to those days when u can jus laze at ur bed till wadever time i want.

yeah

so finally got my lazy clock to start running, had been planning to clear my blood donation today cos i was rejected on sat due to medications... yeah... so enthusiastically cahnged n hopped donw the mrt to blood bank.

where i was rejected... again. damn.

the doctor was the same one that saw me on sat too, and then, he mentioned that i could nto do the donation then but gotta wait for a few more days, so i've waited,, but it turns out that because its antibiotics, i've gotta stop taking it for 1 week before i can donate blood. oh wells, long story cut short, in the end i was rejected, and after a friendly chat wif him on why such impt things weren't made known to blood donors generally (cos i've donated within 1 wk of my antibiotics before!!!) he jus sort of brushed me off wif a suggestion that i go lodge a complain or stuff, that he's not in a position of power to change stuff...

bullshit.

kinda quite angry wif such attitude man, not pissed at him not allowing me to donat,e but pissed at the way he handled such an issue, i mean, please, to ask me to lodge a complain?? shouldn't these changes start from WITHIN the organisation?? i mean, sho knows the system best other than the professionals in the job?? they know the admin from inside out, they know the things thye are asking. why must it wait till some ignorant donor like me to actually discover this flaw? that the blood donor questionaire jus asked if the donor had taking drugs in eh last 3 days?they should like ask if you hv also taken antibiotics int he last 1 week man!!! that is if it mattered!

oh well... i've jus told him that if the change has gotta be, its gotta start from within...kinda like the couldn't-care-less attitude of some commanders men and officers of the SAF... giving the organisation the bad name that it doesn't deserve.. anyway i'll come back next week when i'm done wif the antibiotic.

on to happier news, finally managed to get my zen micro repaired, or should i say replaced? the lovely customer care lady (a IT poly student doing part time called lynna :P) got a new one to replace my faulty zen micro, and after a afternoon of tinkering, my music has been all loaded into it! :) finally!

hmm gonna head down back to camp to jus VISIT the guys for the next few days =) haha now visiting the place as a nsf, hmm the feelings really kinda different though :) haha shall be doing some lessons with the new pcs, gonna run through some revisions wif ops orders and aop with them, hopefully they still remember their stuff :)

gtg now..
